SHARP REVEALS SMART OVEN WITH INTEGRATED COOKING APP

With Sharp’s new Love2Cook smart oven, there’s no need to guess how to adapt recipes according to personal likes, dislikes and dietary do’s and don’ts. The integrated cooking application Innit can now do this for you as together, Innit and Love2Cook allows you to cater for every need. Taking the concept of meal kits to the next level, it adapts and personalises recipes in real time with a database of thousands of modular recipes that can be changed into countless different versions. Innit can recommend dishes, making substitutions for ingredients, as well as adjustments to cooking times and conditions. The Innit-enabled smart oven is a 78-litre A-rated design offering 10 cooking functions including RoastPro Turnspit for even results and a RoastPro Digital Meat Probe. FRANKE UPDATES ITS MARIS GLASS COOKER HOOD RANGE

With its polished glass design, high levels of functionality and energy-saving features, the Maris glass cooker hood collection from Franke has been given a stylish new spin. Sleek and slim, Maris 2.0 is available in classic black as well as a new grey on black glass colourway while the brushless motor makes it 88% more efficient than standard extraction and it’s the only hood where the motor can duct from the rear directly out of an exterior wall, or from the top for design flexibility. MIELE ADDS NEW INNOVATIONS TO ITS LAUNDRY PORTFOLIO

Its biggest laundry launch for five years, Miele has unveiled new designs in washing machines and tumble dryers in both modern and traditional styles to suit all kitchens. Highlights include a host of innovative new features such as a 49-minute QuickPowerWash and AddLoad, allowing users to pop that elusive sock into the wash at any point during the cycle. The W1 and T1 collections include 25 new washers and 16 new dryers with better energy efficiency, more time-saving features, extra convenience and better value for money with up to 10 years extended warranties. In addition, connected smart technology also allows both tumble dryer and washing machine to communicate directly with each other through Miele’s new Wash2Dry function. Operating via WiFi, the dryer obtains information on the previous wash cycle and automatically selects the appropriate drying programme for the load. www.miele.co.uk

SUB-ZERO’S PRO36 IS A SMALLER VERSION OF THE ICONIC PRO48

Refrigeration giants Sub-Zero have designed a ‘baby’ PRO48 with its new PRO36, a 914mm wide version of the iconic original. It comes with all the enhanced features the brand is renowned for to keep food fresher for longer, along with magnetic door seals to keep temperature and humidity locked in. Added benefits include intuitive exterior touch control, a UV-resistant triple-pane glass door and separate compressor systems for the fridge and freezer as well as three temperature zones. It also boasts an anti-microbial air purification system based on NASA technology, a new crisper drawer, water filter, adjustable shelves and enhanced LED lighting. www.subzero-wolf.co.uk

AIR UNO EXTENDS POPULAR CEILING HOOD RANGE

The Salieri range of ceiling hoods from Air Uno has been extended with the release of a black glass model. Featuring an intensive speed setting, which delivers extraction at a maximum rate of 826m3/h, it’s the company’s most powerful extractor to date. The 90cm wide Salieri Black Glass has a B energy rating and features powerful LED strip lighting to illuminate the kitchen area below, as well as four speed settings, a remote control for convenient operation and high-quality metallic filters. HOOVER LAUNCHES NEW WINE COOLERS, PERFECT FOR ENTERTAINING

The new HWCB series from Hoover is aimed at maximising space while keeping wine in its optimum conditions. The HWCB60 can store 46 bottles while the HWCB60D has the capacity for 38 bottles and boasts a tempered glass, double-door design. The HWCB15 meanwhile is a compact model with space for seven bottles. The two 60cm models offer dual temperature control for red and white wine while added features include adjustable temperatures, LED display and adjustable wooden shelving. www.hoover.co.uk

CAPLE ADDS SENSE STEEL TO ITS BUILT-IN COOKING RANGE

Sense Steel is a new cooking collection from Caple, which is available in a professional-look stainless steel. This series sits alongside the brand’s black glass and gunmetal designs and includes a high-performance pyrolytic oven, soft-close oven, combi-microwave, steam oven and warming drawer. The A-rated C2402SS pyrolytic oven for example has 14 functions including a turbo eco grill and pyrolytic self-cleaning. With Caple’s signature MotionHeat+ technology, the fan draws in the hot air and recirculates it in an even motion in the cavity, allowing dishes reach the desired temperature rapidly with no need to preheat, which will ultimately save time and money. www.caple.co.uk
