Now we’re in the full swing of summer, it’s the perfect time to invest in the latest appliances that will help you to keep cool. From big ticket items to countertop appliances and embracing the great outdoors, here’s what’s caught our eye this month…

TOOA MAKES AUTHENTIC ITALIAN GELATO

TooA’s Milano Premium Gelato Maker will whip up fresh, creamy Italian gelato in under five minutes, perfect for children and adults alike. All you need is the app and the pre-packed TooA gelato ‘brick’ (free from preservatives, gluten, emulsifiers and stabilisers and made from carefully selected quality Italian ingredients) then simply scan the QR code, pour contents into the Milano and let the machine blend to the perfect texture and temperature.

Flavours include Belgian dark chocolate, strawberry and Mediterranean pistachio, lemon and blood orange. The single-portion cartons are plastic-free and can be stored at room temperature before use. There’s a range of delicious toppings too with praline, hazelnut crumbs, semi-candied wild blueberries and Sicilian pistachio granola.

It’s available at Harrods, Selfridges, Amazon, Witt Direct and electrical retailers across the UK.

BREVILLE COOLS WITH ICED COFFEE MAKER

There’s nothing quite like an iced coffee on a hot summer’s day so if you’re a caffeine (or decaf) addict, check out Breville’s new Iced Coffee Maker. This single-serve machine quickly cools concentrated, hot-brewed coffee over ice so you don’t get that watered down flavour. Simply fill it with water, scoop in your coffee, add ice to the insulated tumbler with straw (included) and press start. Your iced coffee is ready in less than four minutes.
