The new Mythos Masterpiece collection from Franke

For a striking kitchen project, add fully cohesive design features from the Mythos collection of hoods, hobs, sinks and taps by Franke. The collection, in signature metallic finishes, brings a very definite air of luxury to a new kitchen, and the collection has also recently been awarded an IF Design Award 2026. Products are available in gold, copper and anthracite finishes that are consistent across all products, for a harmonious and high quality look. There are two types of hood design, suspended (shown above) and wall mounted. Decorative elements match details on the smart tech matt black induction hob.

Franke Mythos Masterpiece sink in the gold finish

The Mythos Masterpiece collection by Franke includes three sizes of sink, 40cm, 50cm and the largest, 68cm, shown above. There’s a matching soap dispenser, Rollamat and strainer bowl for quick and easy prep tasks. Aime Gee, Marketing Manager at Franke UK comments ‘Mythos Masterpiece brings true aesthetic harmony to the kitchen creating visual calm, which is great for boosting wellbeing in the home’.

Store wine and drinks perfectly with a Sense Premium Integrated Cooler by Caple

Kitchens have to be a social and entertaining space, not just a cooking and eating space. The newest wine cooler from Caple is the Wi6161 which is an integrated model with glass door. Its full title is the Sense Premium Integrated Undercounter Dual Zone Wine Cooler Wi6161, and it has a host of features. Duel temperature zones, touch controls, LED display, shelves which accommodate Champagne bottles and also glass shelves to provide space to chill cans. There’s also a built-in charcoal filter, and it has a soft-close mechanism.

Magnetic flooring system from Schotten & Hansen

It’s always interesting to find out about new installation systems, particularly for flooring and the latest from Schotten & Hansen is a magnetic solution. Its described as redefining how wooden floors are installed, maintained and re-used. With magnetic construction, individual boards can be repositioned, moved or replaced as required – which simplifies installation and ongoing maintenance. Consequently flooring can be re-used – perhaps moved to a different room – with resulting reduction of material waste. It is also suitable for use in listed buildings, rental properties and for temporary installations where re-use is desirable.

Fired Earth appeared at Clerkenwell Design Week with a pop-up installation at Material Source Studio

 Fired Earth had a pop-up at Material Source, which was a new Clerkenwell Design Week venue for 2026, presenting the tile ranges as functional surfaces and artistic inspirations. The display focussed on craftsmanship and the beauty of natural variations across different materials. Carly Allison, Head of Brand & Product at Fired Earth, commented ‘It was the perfect time to showcase Fired Earth’s beautiful products to the architecture and design community, demonstrating the functionality and artistry behind each design’.

New Almond Oak Impressive Ultra Laminate from Quick-Step

More flooring ideas from Quick-Step, included Impressive Ultra Laminate, Almond Oak. Kitchen floors are exposed to lots of spills, splashes, wear and tear and various amounts of moisture. This range has a lifetime residential warranty, is compatible with underfloor heating, has Hydroseal water resistant technology and Quick-Step’s Uniclic click system installation. Matching skirting boards and profiles, as well as other accessories, are all available.

New Imperial Viola surface from Konig-Zero

For impressive splash backs and waterfall edge islands, consider the new  design from Konig Stone. This is the new Imperial Viola design from KonigZero, which is engineered stone providing the same aesthetics as traditional quartz, but without crystalline silica (hence the ‘zero’). Imperial Viola is a marble-inspired design with a clean white bases and expressive, detailed veining.

A new Bristol showroom for Olive & Barr

It’s always good to hear about a new showroom opening, and we have just learned about the latest from Olive & Barr, this time in Bristol. It has a traditional shop front with gold-stencilled windows, and a vibrant front kitchen display painted in Huguenot Crimson Red by Mylands. The range cooker is by Ilve.

A perfect kitchen-dining table from Loaf

The Jigsaw Kitchen Table from Loaf is constructed from white oak, with a parquet-design top. It extends, seating up to 10 people, so would make a good investment buy, whether it’s for day to day kitchen use or as a more formal dining table. The extending leaf is stored beneath the table surface.

New Balcoon bathroom cabinetry from Duravit

The new Balcoon collection from Duravit (also seen during Clerkenwell Design Week) features architectural forms, clean lines and tactile furniture fronts. The embossed surfaces enhance the look, using warm colour tones and curved shapes for the basins.

Pretty pink bathtub from Kaldewei

Another fabulous product seen at Clerkenwell was the gorgeous Meisterstueck Classic Duo Oval bath, soon to be available in dusky pink, with matching Miena Washbowl. Both part of the 100% recyclable steel enamel range of designs by Kaldewei

New Trone Altesse smart toilet in pink

The new  Altesse smart toilet from Trone is a new take on smart toilet design, avoiding pointless complications and retaining elegant, pure design. There’s a remote control, the wand (where the water spray comes from) provides front and rear washing. Other features include adjustable temperature and intensity, drying, self-cleaning, automatic deodorisation and an integrated light beneath the bowl. Shown above in Pink.
