Caple

CAPLE LAUNCHES INDUCTION DOWNDRAFT

An all-in-one induction downdraft extractor hob, the DD935BK from Caple is super-flexible with 13 power levels, 0-9, bake at 42˚C, keep warm at 70˚C, boil control at 94˚C and a booster on every zone. What’s more, it also comes with a built-in downdraft extractor in the centre, which features four speeds including boost and an automatic timer that switches off ten minutes after cooking has ended. In black glass, it has sleek slider touch controls, a bevelled edge and flush black downdraft grille. A bridge function connects more than one zone together to accommodate larger pans, making this the perfect choice for families or those who enjoy entertaining. You can also benefit from a keep warm, automatic heat-up and a pause, memory recall and timer function. Space saving installation allows you to use the valuable space directly underneath the appliance with the plinth motor located beneath the plinth line to avoid obstruction in the lower cabinets. FRANKE UNVEILS MYTHOS 2GETHER

For seamless extraction and ideal for an island unit, Franke’s new state-of-the-art Mythos 2gether provides powerful extraction without a large appliance in your sightline. Frameless in black glass, it features a fully integrated extractor centrally between four flexible cooking zones. Its removable grille in hardwearing enamelled cast iron is flush mounted, so you can slide between cooking zones while the drip tray is easy to access and clean. There are three power levels plus two intensive and an intuitive digital touch panel with white LEDs. Falmec

FALMEC REVEALS ALBA CEILING EXTRACTOR

Fresh from EuroCucina, Alba is a new ceiling extractor from Falmec with minimalist design. Distinguished by a perimetral glass frame protruding from the ceiling, the functional core is concealed behind a matt white painted panel that seamlessly blends into the ceiling. Part of Falmec’s Design collection, it also features a glass frame perimeter which is blacklit when in use. It’s compatible with several different motors including a recirculating system and can be painted to match existing décor. It’s available to order from July at www.falmec.co.uk

Faber

FABER PROVIDES A RAFT OF NEW PRODUCTS

Italian cooker hood manufacturer Faber lifted the lid on a range of new products at Grand Designs Live back in May. There was an expanded selection of ceiling hoods, island designs and a brand new combination hob extractor. The Galileo combination appliance features a waterproof motor, cast iron grid and can fit into a 60cm deep worktop. It’s simple to fit and offers space beneath for a drawer. There were also two new F-light models with Air Line technology that duct without using any ducting at all. Visitors to the show also saw the launch of The Glow extractor, a stunning hood in black or white glass and a circular band around its base, which can be used to illuminate the kitchen. BERTAZZONI’S NEW BUILT-IN LINES

At EuroCucina, the line-up included a new selection of Professional Series hobs. Thanks to the suspended installation of Franke’s Cloud hood, this extractor appears to be floating above the worksurface.
