Luxe looks for kitchens


With many of us embracing the great outdoors this month, we thought it was the perfect time to offer some inspiration for luxe looks in the kitchen ready for the autumn/winter ahead. Designed to combine practicality with stunning aesthetics, these products are the ultimate additions to your next kitchen project.


A true celebration of nature, the new Whitelight collection from Caesarstone features lighter tones and organic forms that meet our growing desire to bring elements of the outside world into our homes.

It comprises three brand new designs; 5171 Arabetto, 5112 Aterra Blanca and 5114 Calacatta Maximus. Each embodies Caesarstone’s drive for interpretive designs that emulate not just stone but the broader natural world.

The designs showcase the individuality and complexity of natural stone and the variety of ways in which diverse marble motifs have been interpreted to meet this highly desirable aesthetic; a style that communicates luxury, comfort and cleanliness along with a timely connection to our external environment.


The new Elle suction hood by Falmec is characterised by a linear L shape. An island model, it’s the perfect accompaniment for kitchens where entertaining is a priority, as it offers the ideal shape for open-plan spaces. Available in a matt black finish, Elle comes with a perimeter light along its full length while the electronic control panel allows installation of the suction part on both the right and left side of the hood.


Meanwhile, Falmec’s new Light extractor features a geometric shape that fits perfectly into modern kitchens.Ideal for installation above an island, ‘Light’ is so-called because of its illumination capabilities. A, LED extended along the length of the hood is integrated into the external profiles to better illuminate the worktop and create ambience.

Thanks to Falmec’s new ultra-compact Multi-Air technology, it’s able to contain the entire suction element in a 10cm high body. The suction element is enclosed by two black satin aluminium profiles and, in the upper part of the appliance, by smoked glass.


Gaggenau’s new flex induction cooktop with integrated ventilation system is part of the 400 series. The 90cm appliance offers unprecedented precise, fast and flexible cooking with low energy consumption paired with an integrated ventilation. Frameless and flush fitting, the expansive sheet of black glass blends seamlessly into the kitchen with a distinct design difference – control knobs in black.

The flex induction cooktop’s integrated ventilation system can be set to automatically vent the air whenever in use. Available in air recirculation or air extraction mode, it can determine its own power level based on the vapour detected in the atmosphere and can continue when no longer being used.

Energy efficient, powerful motors work in tandem with airflow ducting to ensure minimal volume of both noise and space with maximum effectiveness. It is also equipped with Home Connect so you can control it via the app on your smartphone or tablet.


The second kitchen from Vipp, the V2 combines dark oak with Jura marble to create a simple yet refined look. The modular system follows the same principles of the V1 kitchen with rounded aluminium profiles with reeded details serving as integrated drawer and cabinet grips. It also features softly moulded silicone for interior fittings and the building block approach includes units in tall, wall and island modules.


The FD 83 SERIES 7 fridge freezer with water dispenser features ergonomic design, premium solutions and tailor-made technology. This French door refrigerator that brings all Haier’s efforts in cooling technology development to the maximum level with the newest and exclusive connectivity features. Thanks to the hOn App, you have total control over your refrigerator functions by smartphone.

The UK launch of the new connected appliance range also included the I-Pro Series 5 (959 Series), which consists of a washing machine and washer dryer for professional results at home. It all starts with loading, made easier by the large capacity which is even available with the slim machines. When it comes to washing, a full set of dedicated programmes ensures superior cleaning, drying and sanitising. All powered by the patented Direct Motion Motor technology that is built to last and guaranteed for life.


The Beat is said to be one of the most powerful designer island extractors on the market. The pendant-style island hood is made with two panels arranged side by side, creating a simple yet elegant design. It’s available in four colours – matt black, matt white, dusty blue matt and dark grey matt – and features two LED lights to illuminate the hob.
