New seating from Tamart shown by WAX Collective at Clerkenwell Design Week

Clerkenwell Design Week has just happened (19-21 May 2026), as ever, bringing news of clever products and inspiring designs. TAMART showed at WAX Collective at the CDW pop-up venue at 30-31 Clerkenwell Green EC1. Above, interchangeable seats for the chair and bar stool from the Highgate Collection. The single hardwood frame can be teamed with a padded leather sling seat, a padded fabric sling seat or a solid oak seat, using Tamart’s tension-fitting mechanism which allows comfort and posture to be adjusted. Additional seats can be ordered, allowing schemes to be updated or changed around according to taste or season.

The Tamart collection of Central Stools were also shown at the CDW pop-up venue

The Tamart Central Stool is a three-legged classic design from the 1950s, when Tamar de Shalit was a student at the Central School of Arts & Crafts in London. Today’s version are available in natural ash or oak or black-stained ash. All solid FSC timber, with an oiled finish, and can be used as both a stool or a side table.

The new Nomak collection added to Cosentino’s Dekton ® portfolio

Cosentino brings a new collection, Nomak, to the Dekton ultracompact surface portfolio. Dekton is a carbon-neutral ultracompact surface which is available in 8mm, 12mm and 20mm thickness, has high UV resistance, as well as high resistance to heat, thermal shock, scratches and stains. Shown above, Nomak Evok in a subtle ash grey with delicate variations and subtle veining. It’s described as ‘a tone that softens contrast and bring continuity to large, open spaces’.

Nomak embraces serene beauty and visual continuity to provide timeless design

The new collection is intended for both architectural and interior designers. It is suitable for cladding  large surfaces including walls, floors and work surfaces, providing a clean, natural and timeless base theme that can be enhanced in a multitude of ways. Shown above, Nomak Thala, in a balanced ivory shade with sand-toned veining that adds an element of warmth.

Pretty in pink – new shade Ruby from the HIMACS Lucent collection

This striking kitchens features one of LX Hausys latest shades, Ruby by HIMACS from the Lucent collection. The HIMACS solid surface material was used for the cabinet fronts, bench seating and work surfaces. The Ruby surface is combined with the warmth of pine, in a project designed by design studio Entedimension Einrichtungen in Germany. The project also includes bench seating with integrated storage and matching pink chairs.

Pink and pine combine to present a warming, cheerful interior scheme

The technical qualities of HIMACS made it possible for the designer to approach the project from a streamlined perspective, focussing on optimal functionality and characterful personality. This versatility enables the precise integration of a brass sink and an induction hob. The Lucent collection by HIMACS has luminous depth, adding another layer of depth to kitchen and bathroom schemes, and is available in soft shade of Emerald, Opal and Sapphire too.

The design team at Arighi Bianchi is seeing a rise in popularity of wood flooring

Timber flooring is always a good anchor for a design scheme, particularly in living, kitchen and family spaces. The Arighi Bianchicollection now includes timber flooring from Woodpecker, and Lucy Mather, interiors expert at Arighi Bianchi, says ‘Trends in flooring change frequently and we’re seeing some distinctive looks that bring a whole space up to date and keep it fresh for years to come’. Above, design panels add architectural interest throughout the home, giving a room character.

Dark wood tones by Woodpecker from Arighi Bianchi, adding drama to a kitchen project

Lucy Mather, Arighi Bianchi, says ‘Flooring is often becoming the first decision in a room scheme. The tone, pattern and texture of a wood floor can dictate furniture style, colour palette and the overall feel of the room’. Above, dark oak adds depth and contrast to this kitchen-dining space.

Outdoor inspiration from Baked Tiles

The choice of outdoor tiles can be as important as the choice of indoor tiles. Lesley Taylor, Interior Designer and founder of Baked Tiles says that tiles set the tone for the whole garden. ‘They are not just a practical surface, tiles shape how the space feels and how it used. Getting that foundation right makes a huge difference, particularly in smaller areas’. Above, Alfresco Savannah Pavers, introducing texture and pattern to a beautiful outdoor area.

Outdoor courtyards featuring Baked Tiles are shaped with the same care as interiors

Lesley Taylor continues ‘With the right choices, a smaller garden can feel open and expansive, or more enclosed and layered with character. Materials and layouts work together to create somewhere that feels both inviting and easy to use’. Above, London Geo Cherry Tiles, from Baked  Tiles

New display kitchen from Cor Domi at the Parsons Green studio

We have very recently featured a gorgeous case study by Cor Domi and now we are delighted to bring you news that the team have just revealed a new, fully functioning display kitchen at their studio. It was designed in-house by Head of Design Matthew Andrews, with painted cabinetry in Rolling Fog by Farrow & Ball. Appliance by Miele include an oven, combi-microwave, warming drawer and downdraft extractor.

The Cor Domi display kitchen features engraved custom-made drawer inserts

Matthew Andrews, Cor Domi, explains how they approached the design. ‘We wanted visitors to be able to open every drawer, feel the weight of the doors and depth of the work surfaces and to be able to bring their design choices to life. It’s a very different conversation trying to convey all those details via a mood board’. Above, drawer insert details.
