Some favourite decorative ideas from Decorex 2025

Decorex is the annual interior design show for professional designers, it was held a couple of weeks ago at Olympia in London. Here are some of our highlights… and just to give you a heads up, the next show is scheduled 11-14 October 2026.

Beautiful textured rugs from Roger Oates

The new collection from Roger Oates is Linear, with each rug made using a single ply yarn that reflects light, with a resulting soft sheen and silky feel. Shown above, Templeton, which is a tessellating pattern with contrasts between a tight loop and raised cut piles. There are over 50 new colours in the collection, from vibrant and bold colours to calm neutrals.

 A simple, classic dining table from Another Country

Another Country was founded in 2010 by Paul de Zwart and is inspired by a variety of design forms, including the Shaker movement, traditional Scandinavian design and Japanese woodwork. The mission is to design furniture that will endure, with the entire life cycle of each piece of furniture in mind. This is Dining Table Five, other items shown included lounge chairs and side tables.

Timeless wallpaper from Zardi & Zardi

The Fiori e Leoni Collection from Zardi & Zardi is a new collaboration between Zardi & Zardi and John Soane’s Museum, where 18th century watercolours and drawings from the collection have provided inspiration for this new collection. The designs celebrate decorative flourishes with repeat patterns flowing with rich, detailed patterns.

Upholstered ottoman from Asnew Upholstery & Design

 A very useful little ottoman was part of the  new Natural Furniture Collection from Asnew Upholstery. Pieces were inspired by the Blenheim Estate, from the grandeur of the architecture, described as a unique fusion of biophilic design inspired by English heritage. Asnew Upholstery also offers reupholstery services, banquette seating and a range of bespoke upholstered furniture.

New Bohemia wall panels from Noel & Marquet

Noel & Marquet presented a stunning new collection of 3D wall panels, with organic textures and sequential patterns that have a deep-rooted connection to the Belgian heritage of the company. The panels are designed to transform walls, ceilings and furniture into striking architectural statements. There also finishing profiles and skirtings available.

New designs by Benat Oe from Knots Rugs

Knots Rugs launched a new collaboration with London-based, Spanish-born artist Benat Oe, who is widely known for his textural, monochrome works. He has now brought the process to creating hand-knotted rugs. The collection was launched in September in New York, and seen for the first time in London at Decorex. Read more about his works here.

Bold basins and countertops from Kast in new colours

Decorex saw the launch of a new collection of handcrafted countertops, as well as an expansive choice of basins. The colourful display showed how designers can include eye-catching shapes, textures and finishes into bathroom design. The Kast collection includes 28 colours, and the surface options include wall-mounted slabs, vanity tops and co-ordinating shelves as well as the basins. Above, Anno in  Brick and Blush.

Above, Aura Double basin from the Kast collection. Can be wall or surface mounted, wall brackets are supplied. It should be paired with wall-mounted taps, and is compatible with standard free flow unslotted waste systems. The central fluted surface space hides the waste system.

Castrads, the bespoke cast iron radiator specialists showed their collection

Castrads showed their collections at Decorex for the first time. Models on display included the Emmeline model which is exclusive to Castrads, and which was inspired by early 20th century school radiators. Colour samples are available to order here.

Colourful options from Alternative Flooring

Alternative Flooring introduced a playful splash of colour to Decorex with the launch of the wool Candy Stripe collection, comprising three distinct designs, Pinwheel, Cane and Lollipop. In addition, there was also the new Margo Selby Carnival Stripes, shown above as a runner, with the Margo Selby Stripe Carnival Skelter Bespoke Rug.

Pastello lighting collection by Curiosa launched at Decorex

Curiousa launched a new bathroom lighting collection, displayed in collaboration with Amtico and YES Colours. All designs are IP65, IP45 and IP44 rated so they are safe to use within bathroom settings, zones 1 and 2. Each light fitting is made to order. Wave curtains by Chatelaine Interiors

Chatelaine Interiors create luxurious hand-made soft furnishings, including curtains and blinds, cushions, throws and upholstery, and also provide a comprehensive installation service. Above, some of their creations, including sheer wave curtains.
